Maple Ridge Facts

Maple Ridge has a population of around 75,000, which is expected to hit 94,000 by 2021. Add in the 16,000 that reside in Pitt Meadows, and this area is closing in on 100,000 residents. Traditionally difficult to access, the new Golden Ears bridge that opened in the summer of 2009 now connects the city to Langley and Highway 1, and the new Pitt River bridge to Port Coquitlam. Maple Ridge is now incredibly easy to access, and this should provide for significant growth in the area for years to come. The City has forecasted 400 new businesses to set up shop within the next few years due to the availability and lower prices for land, which will generate a significant amount of new jobs in the area.
